Join us on the Disabled Residents Housing Strategy Implementation Group – Nothing About Disabled People, Without Disabled People

We work in co-production with Disabled people to make our housing services better – one of the ways we do this is through our Disabled Residents Residents Housing Strategy Implementation Group.

The aims of the Disabled Residents Housing Strategy Implementation Group are to:

  • ensure officers deliver on the Disabled People’s Housing Strategy action plan
  • monitor and review the council’s approach to the allocation of resources for Disabled council housing residents
  • influence policy making and procedures around how we work with Disabled council housing residents
  • ensure accountability, transparency, and value for money in terms of reviewing funding for the provision of facilities and services to Disabled residents.

To find out more about the group, please visit Disabled residents housing group (DRHG) | LBHF.

We currently have some opportunities to join the Group. If you’d like to work with us to shape housing services, agree policies and make decisions, please get in touch with the Resident Involvement Team by email at Getinvolved@lbhf.gov.uk or call us on 0208 753 6652.

We’d love to hear from you!
